LED Strip Light Kit for Under Cabinets & Kitchen Plinths
From £29.47Add to basket
Professional-grade LED lighting, delivered as one made-to-measure kit rather than a bag of parts. Tell the configurator what you are lighting and how long the run is: we cut the strip to your measurement, size the driver with proper headroom, make up the link cables and wire the whole kit before it ships. The price updates as you build, so what you see is what you pay. No soldering and no guesswork, just a prewired assembly with a wiring diagram, ready to fix in place and plug in.

What is a prewired LED kit?
Buying LED strip as parts means cutting tape, matching a driver, finding the right connectors and hoping it all works together. A prewired kit removes every one of those steps. We cut the strip to your measurement, size the driver for the exact load, make up the link leads and feed cables, then wire and test the whole assembly before it ships. What arrives is a finished lighting kit with a wiring diagram, ready to fix in place and plug in.

Which kit do I need?
Each kit is built for one job, with the right strip, rating and fittings for it:
- Stairs and steps: under-step, handrail or wall-wash light with a prewired link for every step.
- Under cabinets and kitchen plinths: task light for worktops and a soft glow along the kickboards.
- Gardens and decking: IP68 sealed strip cut and resealed to length, with a weatherproof driver.
- Mirrors and vanity units: an even, dot-free halo behind the glass.
- Coving and cove lighting: one unbroken wash of light along the ceiling line.
If you are not sure which fits, measure the space first. The configurator on each kit page prices your exact build, so trying two kits side by side takes a minute.

How the configurator works
Every kit page has the same four steps: choose where the light goes, enter your measurements, pick a colour, then choose how you want to switch or dim it. The configurator prices the build live while you work, sizes the driver with 20% headroom so it never runs at its limit, and splits long runs into balanced branches automatically. Nothing is added to your basket until you are happy with the price.

Sized properly, built to last
The usual failure in strip lighting is not the LEDs, it is an overloaded power supply running hot behind a unit. Our kits will not let that happen: the configurator checks every build against the driver’s real capacity and steps up a size where the load needs it. LEDs driven within their limits fade slower and last longer, which is why we would rather fit a bigger driver than sail close to the maximum.
