RGB Strip Lights
12V RGB LED Strip Lights
Our 12V RGB strips are sold by the metre and supplied to a maximum length of 5m. Multiple strips can be connected in parallel so larger installations are possible. Our 12V RGB LED Strip is cuttable every 3 LEDs should it need shortening on installation.
24V RGB LED Strip Lights
If an installation requires a length of LED strip in excess of 5m then our 24V strip is a better choice. In terms of brightness and power consumption, it’s the same as our 12V strip, however, it allows twice the length to be powered.
Our 24V RGB strip is sold by the metre up to a maximum length of 10m. Multiple strips can be connected in parallel to create large installations. Our 24V RGB LED Strip is cuttable every 6 LEDs should it need shortening on installation.

FAQ
What does RGB mean in LED Strip Lights?
RGB stands for Red, Green and Blue, these three colours are combined inside the LEDs to create 16 million hues of light. Using these three colour combinations the user can navigate through a range of colour options for your RGB LED Strip Light.
What is the difference between RGB and RGBW LED lights?
RGB Strip Lights have four outputs; Red, Green, Blue and Power, These can be used to produce a multitude of colours. RGBW Strip Lights have five outputs; Red, Green, Blue, White and Power. The additional white output allows for RGBW Strip Lights to perform more efficiently and to have much more precise colour control.
Is RGB better than white light?
RGB Strip Lights can produce multiple colours when combined together, but they will never be able to produce precise pure white colours. Having a white LED allows the user to change the temperature and ambience of the LED Strips.
This is why we recommend RGBW Led Light Strips to customers who want a full range of colours with extra precision because RGBW is exactly the same as RGB lights but they have a dedicated white LED.
Can you cut RGB LED strip lights?
Yes, you are able to cut our RGB LED Strip Lights. Our IP65 RGB LED Strips can be cut down, but our Waterproof RGB LED Strips will need to be resealed once they have been cut to keep their waterproof seal.
Can you control RGB Light Strips with your phone?
Yes, you can control your RGB strip lights with your phone, when they are connected with a RGB(W) WiFi-106 LED Strip Controller Single or Multi-Zone. This device makes them into Smart LED Strip Lights and will allow you to control the colours of your strip from your phone using the Wifi106 App.
Can RGB LED strip produce white light?
No, RGB is a combination of RED, Green and Blue LEDs, they are mixed together to form multiple colours. This means that you will be able to produce colour close to white but it won’t be able to produce a pure white light.
