LED Profiles for Strip Lights
If the installation benefits from casting the light out at 45 degrees to the mounted surface then our corner LED profile is ideal. Most aluminium LED profiles are available with a choice of diffuser cover: opaque or Frosted. The opaque cover diffusers the light better across the cover, the frosted is more transparent than the opaque.
All of our Aluminium LED profiles will accommodate our IP65 LED Strip Lights. Our fully waterproof IP68 LED Strip Lights will only fit in the ‘box’ section aluminium.
How to Bend an LED Profile?
For the majority of our aluminium profiles, we wouldn’t recommend trying to bend it as this could cause injury to yourself or damage the profile. But we do have a profile which is designed to be flexible and bend to help you achieve your desired lighting and that is the Flexible LED Profile.
How to Connect LED Profiles?
For customers who require longer lengths, simply butt the aluminium channels together to make the required length. Installation is designed to be as simple as possible. Mounting clips are sold separately; alternatively, bond the aluminium profile or use double-sided tape.
How to Cut an LED Aluminium Profile?
Cutting an LED profile is similar to cutting a regular aluminium profile by sawing the profile to the desired length. Use a fine-toothed saw blade to minimize burrs and ensure a smooth cut.
What are LED Profiles?

No, not all LED strips can be used with LED profiles. It is important to make sure that the LED strip you plan to use is compatible with the particular profile you have chosen. It is also important to take into account the width & height of the LED strip and compare it with the width & height of the profile, to ensure a proper fit.
How do I Install LED Profiles?
Installation of LED profiles may vary depending on the specific product and application. However, the basic process typically involves cutting the profile to the desired length, attaching the LED strip to the profile, and then mounting the profile to the desired surface. It’s important to refer to the instructions for specific details. Check out our Installation Guide for more information.
Are LED Profiles Easy to Maintain?
LED profiles are relatively low maintenance. However, it’s important to keep them clean and free of dust and debris to ensure optimal performance. It’s also a good idea to check the LED strip and profile periodically for any damage or wear and replace them as needed.
