RGBW LED Strip Lights
Need white and RGB colour-changing light from one strip, no problem!
Our RGBW LED Strip is ideal to use when a colour-changing light and white light are required in one location from one LED strip. Previously to achieve the same lighting effect, two separate LED strips would need to be used. Our RGBW LED Controllers can control both the white and colour-changing light LEDs together.

RGBW Light Strips
Integrated RGBW LED is twice as bright
Unlike most RGBW LED Strips, ours features a unique LED Chip. Each LED on the strip has an integrated design with a dedicated white light portion and colour changing portion. Previously separate LED’s had to be used on the LED strip, alternating between white and RGB LED’s.
The benefit with our RGBW strip is the RGB output is twice as bright while still providing a good strong dedicated white light. The colour and white light mixing is also improved.
New COB (chip on board) RGBW LED Lighting
Our RGBW LED Strip is now available in both the standard, 60 LED’s per metre SMD (surface mounted diode) and new, 896 LED’s per metre COB (chip on board) form.
The standard RGBW is perfect for when the LED Strip can not be seen directly but still produces maximum colour saturation. The COB version is better for providing a continuous beam of light. Ideal when the strip is more visible.
24V RGBW LED Strip is Beneficial for Larger Installations
It can be beneficial to use a 24V LED strip for installations of more than 5 metres of LED strip per zone. Using 24V instead of 12V LED Strip the capacity of the colour controller is doubled allowing twice as much strip to be powered through the colour controller. Also 24V RGBW LED strip allows up to 10m to be connected in series with the control gear compared to just 5m for the 12V strip.
FAQs
What Does RGBW Stand For?
RGBW stands for Red, Green, Blue and White. RGBW strip lights feature four colour source channels: Red, Green, Blue and White. This allows it to not only create millions of colour options but also pure white.
How Do I Know Which Shade Of White To Choose?
Like all of our LED strip lights, choosing what is right for you is a personal choice.
The RGBW LED lights are available in warm (3000k), natural (4000k) and pure (6000k) shades of white. The warm white is much like a candlelight with a warm, yellow glow. The cool white is a much sharper, cleaner white light.
What Lengths Do You Sell Your RGBW Strip Lights In?
We have different lengths available depending on the type of RGBW strip light you are looking for. Our 12V RGBW LED Strip Lights are available up to 5 metres, while our 24V RGBW LED Strip Lights and COB-RGBW Chip On Board LED Strip Light 24V are available up to 10 Metres.
What Is The Difference Between RGB and RGBW LED Lights?
RGB Strip Lights have four outputs; Red, Green, Blue and Power, these can be used to produce a multitude of colours. RGBW Strip Lights have five outputs; Red, Green, Blue, White and Power. The additional white output allows for RGBW Strip Lights to perform more efficiently and to have much more precise colour control.
Can you control RGBW Light Strips with your phone?
Yes, you can control your RGBW strip lights with your phone, when they are connected with a RGB(W) WiFi-106 LED Strip Controller Single or Multi-Zone. This device makes them into Smart LED Strip Lights and will allow you to control the colours of your strip from your phone using the Wifi106 App. You can also control our RGBW TV Backlights with your phone or through Alexa.
Can You Cut RGBW LED Strip Lights?
Yes, you are able to cut our RGBW LED Strip Lights. All variations of our RGBW are able to be cut, some at 5cm lengths and some at 10cm lengths. Check out our guide on Cutting, Connecting and Installing LED Strip Lights.
