LED NEON FLEX Light Strip FAQ
Why Should You Choose LED Neon Lights?
LED neon lights have become really popular in the last few years because of how affordable they are, and how easy they are to install. Compared with traditional Neon Lights, LED Neon Lights are 80% more energy efficient and produce a cleaner, crisper light, which is why customers are now choosing LED Neon Lights over conventional Neon Lights.
What Colour Options Do We Offer?
Using Epistar LED technology we have designed high-quality, energy-efficient LED Neon Flex Strips whose colours will remain as strong and as bright for their whole lifetime. Unlike traditional neon lights, LED Neon Lights offer a choice of light colours, find out more here.
Warm-White: This is a soft, ambient light which will be great for adding a subtle accent to rooms around the home.
Cool-White: This is a bright, eye-catching light which will work well for adding an accent to kitchens and bathrooms.
Orange: This offers a bright but soft, orange glow.
Red: This offers a lovely deep red glow, perfect for making a statement.
Green: This offers a bright green glow perfect for a fun statement piece.
Blue: This offers a pure sea blue glow.
Pink: This offers a candyfloss pink glow, perfect for a soft and fun finish.
Is Neon Flex Waterproof?
All our LED Neon Flex Strips are made from high-grade, IP67, flexible silicone housing, making them fully waterproof and dust-resistant. This allows our customers to use the Neon Flex Strip Lights indoors or outdoors with the peace of mind knowing that their lights are protected.
How long does LED Neon Flex last?
We’ve designed our Neon Flex lights in a way that the LEDs will only light to a maximum of 75% capacity. In return, the LED life is extended to 50,000 hours, making this one of the most reliable Neon Flex products available. Brightness isn’t compromised, thanks to the ultra-bright 3014 LED chip from Epistar.
What is LED flex neon?
The LED Neon Flex Lights are fitted with 120 Epistar LEDs every metre, giving an almost perfect line of light, and dotting is reduced to a minimum. The LEDs are then surrounded by a silicone layer which gives the light its structure and makes it fully waterproof (IP67).
Can you cut LED neon Flex?
Yes, you can cut LED Neon Flex lights. With our technology, we have designed a light which can be cut with scissors, to as small as every 6 LEDs (5cm). Once cut the end of the Neon Flex will need sealing and an end cap will need to be fitted.
