LED Strip Power Lead Connector 8mm 2 Pin
This connector is designed to clip onto the end of our single colour 8mm wide LED strip to allow it to connect with a 12/24V power supply. The LED strip light must be 8mm wide to use this connector. Before this connector can be used, gel waterproof coatings must be removed 7mm from the end of the LED strip. The LED strip can then slide inside the connector, passing under the metal arms. Ensure the arms are pushing down onto the copper contacts of the LED Strip. Then close the connector cover, ensuring the teeth clamp directly onto the circuit board of the LED strip not the gel coating.
This connector can be used with our Nano Tech LED Strip providing the thin waterproof coating is removed from the top of the copper terminals first. This can be done using a sharp blade or fine sandpaper.
This connector is approximately 150mm long.

The connector is actually good – but the packing doesn’t include anything to remind the purchaser that the connector has a mini hinge – and achieving a working connection requires some work on the LED strip. There is actually a page on the LED lighthouse website that says it – but if you didn’t know/remember this then you can waste a lot of time..
