4 Channel DMX decoder with standard 8 bit input, ideal for general lighting application. It has bi-directional communication via RDM allowing the DMX address to be read and set remotely. Alternatively, the DMX address is displayed and adjusted by 'dip switches' on the side of the unit. The address is then stored mechanically by the dip switches. This is of benefit if the unit is going to be powered down as the address cannot be forgotten.
This control receiver requires a DMX signal from a DMX master controller (see related products below) in order to function.
This controller has the capacity to power up to 240 Watts of 12V LED lighting or 480 Watts of 24V LED lighting. It requires an LED driver in order to 'power up' and light the LEDs connected to the output. The power output of this receiver is limited by the power output of the LED driver. To power 240 Watts of LED lighting you would need to use a 240 watt LED driver.
The controller has two fixing points situated on the base so it can be screwed down. It has screw terminals on the input and output for easy connection into the lighting circuit.
